Need to place your kitty/s?  REHOMING ADVICE

If you are moving to a new place that does not allow cats, most landlords will not know you have your cats if you keep them away from the windows.

If allergies is the problem, ask your doctor for advice and be sure to see our Kitty Info page at http://forgottenfelines.petfinder.org.  Allerpet wipes seem to work very well as do air purifiers and keeping the cat out of the allergic person’s room. This will give you the time to place your cats as in this awful economy, even kittens are having a hard time finding homes and most likely yours will be euthanized if given to a shelter.

And if you leave the cat behind hoping your neighbors will take him/her in, it will most likely starve to death or die from the cold and lack of shelter or predators as most people do not wish to take on more responsibilities at this time of job loss and lack of confidence of having enough money for even themselves to live on.

FINDING HOMES FOR KITTENS

If you are rehoming your kitty because of BEHAVIORAL PROBLEMS, see our KITTY INFO PAGE and click on the link for advice on how to solve the  problem you are experiencing with your kitty/s.  Please remember, rescues and shelters are filled to overcapacity and there is a good risk that your kitty will be euthanized if he/she is an adult kitty and especially so if he/she is an older adult.
